On this platform, you will have the opportunity to engage in discussions with fellow industry professionals, as well as share policies, procedures, photos, videos, and surveillance footage. It's important to note that all content, information, and files, including reports, briefings, and logos, are considered sensitive and should not be shared outside of the Cultural Safeguard Alliance.

We kindly request that all branding, such as logos, institution names, contact numbers, and addresses, be removed from any content shared on this platform. It is understood that the decision to upload content containing logos, institution names, contact numbers, or addresses rests with the owner or submitter of the content.

Please note that when you first register to access to the CSA website, the CSA Resource Hub is not immediate upon application approval. You will receive a separate email from Microsoft Teams inviting you to join the CSA Resource Hub once your user information has been added, this process may take up to 72 hours. Kindly monitor your email for a welcome message and accept the invitation to join the CSA Resource Hub on Teams. 

SENSITIVE SECURITY AGREEMENT

Please note, the Sensitive Security Agreement was acknowledged and signed upon application for joining. 

Introduction

This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for the use of information and resources provided by the Cultural Safeguard Alliance website (www.culturalsafeguardalliance.org). By registering to join, users are acknowledging and agreeing to the following terms.


Acknowledgment of Use of Information

By registering to join via the Cultural Safeguard Alliance website (www.culturalsafeguardalliance.org), I understand and agree to the following terms:

Information Sharing

  • The personal and professional information provided will be used for networking, investigation, and resource-sharing purposes among cultural property safety and security professionals.

Content Uploads

  • Any policies, procedures, photographs, logos, and surveillance videos uploaded to this platform will be available to and shared with other users within the Cultural Safeguard Alliance network.

 Distribution and Use of Shared Content

 Non-Distribution

  • I agree not to distribute, disseminate, or share any content obtained from the alliance with non-users without express consent from the original owner of the content. The Directory and content are not to be used for personal or side business needs and prospecting. The Directory shall be strictly confidential and shall only be used for Cultural Safeguard Alliance purposes.

 Liability Release

  • I release the Cultural Safeguard Alliance, its founding contributors, leadership, and its users from any liability arising from unauthorized use, misuse, or distribution of the information and resources.

 

Misuse and Consequences

Unauthorized Access

  • Unauthorized access to the Cultural Safeguard Alliance Portal, including the Resource Hub (integrated with Microsoft Office), is considered misuse, and failure to comply will result in permanent suspension and may lead to severe consequences as defined below.

Misuse of Content/Information

  • Suspected or improper use or dissemination of sensitive content and information related to cultural property security and safety may lead to severe consequences including:

  • Immediate suspension from the Cultural Safeguard Alliance.

  • Notification to the FBI Art Crimes Task Force and/or appropriate law enforcement agency for potential criminal investigation and/or prosecution.

 

Verification and User Integrity

 Employment Verification

  • Users consent to the verification of their employment and understand that an interview and/or phone screen interview may be conducted to confirm their professional credentials initially stated at the time of user application.

Employment Update

  • User are required to immediately update their user profile and inform the Cultural Safeguard Alliance of any changes in employment status outside of the security and safety department of their cultural institution through which they initially applied to the network.

User Audit

  • Users are subject to an annual audit, to ensure the integrity and security of the Cultural Safeguard Alliance.

 

Agreement to Terms

 Acceptance of Sensitive Security Agreement

  • By accepting and proceeding, users affirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions outlined in this Sensitive Security Agreement.
